چکیده
Even in magnetic shield, external magnetic field could not be neglected especially for magneto-meter system, and, it will be considered as uniform external noise. Also, the noise is caused by nearer external source, and is not uniform one of the noise. In this paper, the influence of the external uniform field and the external gradient noise on inverse problem solution by the SMN (Selective MinimumNorm) method is studied by simulation.

Biomagnetic inverse analysis based on decorrelation
In biomagnetic signal source activities, some are correlated, some are uncorrelated, and others are indifferent. If MEG (Magnetoencephalography) data have high signal to noise ratio, then the dominant components of the data are generated from such correlated, uncorrelated, and indifferent signal source activities. In this case, clustering of the signal sources in correlation and uncorrelation s...
متن کاملPractical limits on the biomagnetic inverse process determined from in vitro measurements in spherical conducting volumes.
A technique of locating current dipoles in spherical conducting volumes by determining the location of the magnetic field maximum and inverting the magnetic field equations was developed and the expected localisation errors were predicted. AC current dipoles were placed in spheres of uniform conductivity. Each dipole's magnetic field was measured and its location was calculated by determining t...

In this paper basic mathematical and physical concepts of the biomagnetic inverse problem are reviewed with some new approaches. The forward problem is discussed for both homogeneous and inhomogeneous media. Geselowitz' formulae and a surface integral equation are presented to handle a piecewise homogeneous conductor. The special cases of a spherically symmetric conductor and a horizontally lay...
متن کاملRecursively-applied Scanning Algorithms for Inverse Analyses of Gastrointestinal Biomagnetic Fields
The process of identifying dipolar sources of bioelectric current in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract is of great importance to the future of medical diagnosis. Superconducting QUantum Interference Device (SQUID) magnetometers measure the minute magnetic fields associated with electrical control activity (ECA) from GI smooth muscle. The phenomenology of abnormal ECA current propagation can offer...

The ability to study the pathology of the stomach noninvasively from magnetic field measurements is important due to the significant practical advantages offered by noninvasive methods over other techniques of investigation. The inverse biomagnetic problem can play a central role in this process due to the information that inverse solutions can yield concerning the characteristics of the gastri...
